27th July 2014 is the date to mark in your diary if you’d like to have a fun day out in Bridgend and help a great cause while doing so.
AgentPro have organised a family fun day alongside a 12 hour 5-a-side football tournament taking place at Pencoed Comprehensive School, both of which will raise money for local Bridgend-based children’s charity, Y Bont.
The charity has been running for 14 years and currently cares for children with multiple conditions and disabilities including autism, hearing and visual impairment, cystic fibrosis, cerebral palsy, life-limiting conditions and complex medical needs.
But now Y Bont faces the risk of closure due to cuts in funding and must raise the grand amount of £50,000 by the end of the summer to stay open.
The event will run from 8am-8pm and the best thing is that there will be something for everyone to enjoy – so you can bring the whole family along. There will be various stalls and fun activities on offer such as:

- Character appearances (including everybody's favourite, Mickey Mouse)
- A fire engine – courtesy of Bridgend Fire Station – where the children can sit in the driver's seat and have their photo taken. They will also be able to try on uniforms and fire hats.
