On Sunday the 28th of September, 7 brave members of the AgentPro team will be throwing themselves out of an airplane at 12,000 feet. They will be hurtling towards the ground at 120mph – all in the name of charity.
The skydive is raising money for the local disabled children’s charity, Y Bont, which needs all the help it can get after facing cuts in funding.
It needs to raise £50,000 if it’s to remain open and continue providing disabled children and their families with invaluable care and support.
We held a successful family fun day and 12 hour football tournament in July that helped raise more than £3,000 for the charity. And on Sunday we’re looking to raise even more.
The event is taking place at Fairwood, Swansea Airport, so if you happen to be in the surrounding area between 9.15am and 12pm you’re more than welcome to come along and show your support.

Just picture the scene:
Your nerves tingle as the plane slowly rises to a gargantuan height of 12,000 feet. The rumble of the engine and the heat from the equipment you’re wearing makes the butterflies fluttering around in your stomach even worse.
Then the door flies open and it’s time to ready yourself. As you shuffle over to the doorway you look down and your stomach jolts.
There’s 12,000 feet between you and the ground.
And the only thing that separates you is air.

Although the rush at the end may be one of the greatest feelings in the world, putting yourself through this ordeal takes a lot of nerve.
But it’s all for an invaluable local charity that needs all the help it can get.
