Social Media Accounts Estate Agents Shouldn’t Neglect

No doubt your agency has active Facebook and Twitter accounts – and with AgentPro you’re able to update them both quickly and easily. But have you considered other social media platforms you may be neglecting?

    Instagram

    Instagram

For some, Instagram is about sharing pictures of avocado toast and selfies at the beach. But for estate agents, you’ll be able to do something completely different. Snaps of beautiful views from the bedroom, a quick video to show the power of the shower, or the crackle of a roaring fire – these are all amazing features of properties that get lost in the jumble of listings on Rightmove. By posting them on Instagram you’re curating an inspirational gallery of gorgeous property shots. This will make sellers feel special, and open you up to a whole new audience.

Showing your company’s personality is also easy with Instagram. Ice bucket challenges may be a bit 2014, but pictures from charitable events or sponsored fun runs will show a side of your company that vendors will love, and pictures of cards and presents from happy clients will convince everyone you’re doing a great job.

    Pinterest

    Pinterest

Pinterest is similar to Instagram in that it’s all about images, but this time the images go straight to your website, giving you a fantastic click through rate, and it also improves your rankings in search engines. It’s like having a free of charge advert in front of a captive audience.

Infographics perform brilliantly on Pinterest, giving users interesting information in an attractive format. Here’s an infographic we created to illustrate property portals, but we’re sure you’ll be able to come up with your own creative ideas!

    Youtube

    Youtube

A YouTube account may not be something you’ve thought of for your estate agency, but with a bit of imagination, it could be a valuable marketing tool and an imaginative way to boost your agency’s web presence.

Film virtual house tours, an introductory video of your offices, or informative videos showing how to stage a property… the possibilities are as large as your imagination!

Whatever social media channels you choose to use, the key is in consistency. While it may seem onerous to update so many different accounts all the time, bear in mind you should already be doing the hard work – doing a great job selling houses. This is just shouting about it.

If you’d like help with your social media, get in touch with us here at AgentPro. We will help your agency make the most of the wide variety of channels that are just waiting to be explored.
