We have received an email from Rightmove regarding upcoming changes to the qualifier section.
As of the 1st August 2014 Rightmove will be limiting the use of the price qualifier "From".
The email received is shown below:
We are writing to notify you that as of the 1st August 2014, the price qualifier FROM on Rightmove will be limited to properties that are new builds or commercial properties only. This is following advice from the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) regarding the possibility of prices being misleading.
As of this date, any properties listed on Rightmove with a price qualifier of “From” and any properties subsequently loaded via a datafeed using this qualifier will display only their price with no qualifier.
For example, a property that previously was displayed as “From £200,000” will now be displayed as “£200,000”. Properties loaded as a New Home or any properties with a commercial property type are exempt based on the advice from CAP.
